[TIS] Walk with Me Program Evaluation Volunteer

The volunteer will be involved in analysing quantitative and qualitative data gathered throughout different programme timepoints through the process and outcome evaluation methodologies. If possible, the volunteer will be involved in sense-making of the data, presenting it to different stakeholders and sharing findings and recommendations.

About the Programme & Service Users :
Walk with Me is a pilot peer supporter program for youths with/or risk of Non-suicidal Self-Injury (NSSI), intended as an add-on support service complementing existing interventions by helping professionals. Trained volunteers (peer supporters) will journey with youths over a 3–6-month period, engaging them in different activities and linking them to community resources to strengthen interpersonal effectiveness (e.g., communication skills) and intrapersonal coping (e.g., emotional regulation and coping), which will contribute to long term goal of reducing prevalence and preventing NSSI.

Requirements

Role Requirements:
Role requirements include but not limited to the following: • Able to engage in basic quantitative statistical analysis (i.e., descriptive profile statistics, inferential statistics such as t-test) • Able to engage in qualitative statistical analysis (i.e., thematic analysis) • Able to present and communicate data effectively through visuals and reports • Able to engage in literature review where needed as part of data analysis, synthesis, and presentation of final recommendations
